I had such a great time at Kate and Alex's wedding. The sun shone, the atmosphere was so relaxed, Kate and Alex couldn't have looked happier and more in love. It was a wonderful day. Kate and Alex are such a special couple; they went out of their way to make Samuel and I feel welcome and it was so lovely to share their day with them. Kate and Alex compliment each other perfectly and Kate's bubbly personality and big smile are so infectious. I couldn't have asked for a more lovely couple to spend time with.
There's lots more to share about Kate and Alex's wedding but I will save it for the full post!
A big thank you to Kate and Alex for inviting us to share their day with them, for always taking such good care of us , for the lovely hog roast (yum!), and for the yummy homemade chutney we brought home. Lots of love to you both! xx
Kate (with the help of Alex!) made 1000 paper cranes, by hand, for their wedding! In Japan hand-making this many cranes is believed to bring good luck, happiness and prosperity to the couple. I thought it was a wonderful idea and they looked amazing hanging from the ceiling of the marquee. I also spotted the Japanese parasols, used for decoration, so incorporated them into their portraits. Isn't Kate so radiant and gorgeous?!
Kate and Alex's engagement shoot was quite close to the wedding so I didn't get a chance to blog the shoot before their wedding. So here are a few shots from their pre-wedding shoot as well!
Feel free to leave some love for Kate and Alex! I will soon be finally catching up on blogging full weddings from the summer, so keep a look out! Have a great week everyone! xx
