Caroline & Adam's Story | Fetcham Park

Caroline & Adam's wedding was a truly special affair. I can distinctly remember just how emotional Caroline's Dad was about walking Caroline down the aisle, about giving her away. His face when he saw Caroline in her dress was just so wonderful to witness; so much pride and happiness. It truly is a joy to capture moments like these. There's something very special about the way Caroline looks at her loved ones; a beautiful and tender look she gives as she's chatting away to them. This wedding was full of emotion; so many wonderful moments between everyone at the wedding. I never underestimate what a privilege it is to capture these moments; that this day is ultimately about the people and the relationships which have shaped the Bride & Groom, both as individuals and as a couple. Thank you to Caroline & Adam for inviting me to capture their special day for them; I am so happy you love your images.

This was my first time photographing at Fetcham Park and it really is a truly wonderful venue. The staff at Fetcham Park sincerely care about the couples who have chosen this special place to start their married life. They are invested in making it the best possible day for them, and they understand that this isn't just about a wedding celebration, it is also about the start of a marriage, and as someone who shares this ethos, I particularly loved working there. I'm so looking forward to being back at Fetcham Park in the future. Thank you to Louise and everyone who looked after us on the day and made everything run so smoothly!

The incredible flowers were by Steph of Fairy Nuff Flowers. We've worked together before and I'm always amazed at the beauty she creates. Kalm Kitchen were behind the delicious and truly beautiful food. Another company committed to providing the best for their couples, with incredible attention to detail. Hair and makeup was by the excellent Kaz Fernando; Caroline looked incredible. It was also my first time working with Ray of Ray McShane Films and he and his wife were an absolute pleasure to work with!

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful festive period and a happy new year! 2015 has been particularly busy for me with my rebrand, new website and photographing lots of weddings. However, I am committed to blogging and sharing more in 2016, now that I have this new corner of the internet which really feels like me. For a long time, I have felt that my voice and my passion, weren't really present on my website and I wanted to change that. Do take a look around the new website; it has my heart and my soul so I do hope you like it!

Coming soon...a beautiful winter wedding at The Gallivant which involved braving 40 mile per hour winds on Camber Sands beach in December (so worth it though!), and a unique London Elopement I photographed on Christmas Eve; the Bride wore a black wedding dress and looked truly incredible! I do love a unique take on the white wedding dress! xx
