Let me start by saying I laughed and laughed and laughed so much at this wedding. Sophie & Wayne have the most brilliant sense of humour; they had me in stitches! All in all, it was just a brilliant wedding and a brilliant day. It rained a lot on the wedding day, but Sophie & Wayne were game for anything; they braved the cold, the wind and the rain to ensure they were able to take in the lovely surroundings of Kingscote Barn for their portraits. Luckily we had some umbrellas on hand for the serious downpours! For me, your wedding day is all about living in the moment; it only happens once. The more you throw caution to the wind and enjoy your day, that's when the magic happens. I think you can see that in the way Sophie & Wayne look at each other.
Waiting for feedback from my couples always fills me with nerves; even after all this time. It's because I care so very much about what I do. But when those wonderful words arrive in my inbox, I'm left with the biggest smile; it really does mean the world to me. Thank you Sophie & Wayne!
"What can I say? The slideshow was absolute perfection! I have I cried, laughed or smile at each new photo. Of course it was the best day of my life (so far) but I think what I can see in the photographs is so much happiness and love in the room from all our friends and family - something that I missed in the wedding bliss blur! The 'relaxed' moments are so candid and personal I think they are amazing as well as the portraits. They have definitely surpassed my high expectations and I'm so so so happy that I have the ones of me and mum. As the portrait of one of your brides and her mum made me sure you were the right photographer for the day! I don't think there are enough words to explain how magical and special they are to us, but I'm sure all your brides end up like this after seeing your work! I can't wait to share them with the family ... tissues at the ready!! Lots of love, Sophie, Wayne and the whole family! xxx"
Makeup was by Charlotte Tillyer; Sophie looked absolutely stunning.
