There was a black and white theme and I just loved all of their beautiful stationary. Nikki and Matt have a beautiful daughter. She had a matching updo to her Mummy and a gorgeous little outfit!Sigh, what a beauty! The photo below is one of my favourites. The light coming in the windows was just beautiful. It was icy cold and very muddy; hats off to Nikki and Matt (especially Nikki in her dress), for braving the cold so wonderfully.Nikki designed her dress and it was just perfection!Matt's Dad made this Ferrero Rocher wedding cake. Just amazing! I loved the little paper bags so people could take away some choccies!I mentioned this little story on Nikki and Matt's engagement shoot blog post, but I'll mention it here again...Life has a funny way of surprising you. I met Nikki when she was modelling for a photography workshop I attended. Little did I know that over a year later she would book me for her wedding! I'm so glad she did because Nikki and Matt are two of the loveliest people and we loved spending time with them. You may remember them from their Paris Engagement shoot HERE.
Nikki and Matt held their wedding, just before Christmas, at Wesley House in Gloucestershire. What is so special about this lovely little venue is just how much it comes to life in the darkness of winter. The lights twinkle, the Christmas decorations lend to the celebrations, and the food is homely and delicious. It really was like being in a little winter wonderland.
I loved the sophisticated and elegant details that Nikki and Matt chose for their reception. They really complemented the atmosphere and winter feel of the day.
A big thank you to Nikki and Matt for the wonderful meal, for being such a pleasure to photograph, and for taking such good care of us over the weekend. I am over the moon you love the photos!
Feel free to leave some love for Nikki and Matt! xx
