Returning to Paradise ~ A Personal Post

Samuel and I first went to the Maldives for our honeymoon in July 2009 and completely fell in love with the place. It's the most beautiful place on Earth. Having grown up in Asia, I love going back whenever I get the chance. The way of life in the Maldives is one of a kind. The people, the food, the beaches, are unbeatable. I highly recommend a visit at least once in your life. There isn't much to do in the Maldives but Eat, Sleep and Sunbathe. Well that's fine by us as that's all we really want to do on holiday! Both times, we have risked going during their rainy season, and it's been great. It's a lot cheaper to go during the Monsoon season (Between May and Early October), which is really helpful, as the Maldives is extremely expensive during high season. This time we did have a lot of overcast days and some rain, but it didn't make a single bit of difference. After all, we were in Paradise.

With our terrible English weather, I thought I'd share some summery photos to bring some sunshine and smiles!

Our view everyday...sigh...Samuel and I just celebrated our second wedding anniversary and six years together. Everyday I feel lucky to spend my days with him. Plus he has the best pout I've ever seen on a man ;)Until next time, I'll be dreaming of Paradise. If you have any questions about the Maldives, leave a comment or send me an email.

I have lots coming up on the blog soon, including more beautiful weddings and engagement shoots, so do keep a look out. xx
