Firstly Happy New Year! As I'm aiming to blog more this year, I thought Ellie & Nick's wedding would be the perfect post to kick start 2016! I hope you can tell from the images just what a fun-filled, happy and wonderful day this was. They were having the time of their lives on their wedding day, and it was such a joy to capture their happiness. I loved how Ellie got ready with all of her family at her family home in Winchester; there's something so wonderful about capturing the first moments of your wedding day in your family home.
I loved all the personal touches they included in their wedding. Ellie wore the same tiara her mother wore on her wedding day, they included wonderful china as part of their wedding decor (Nick is from Stoke-on-Trent, the home of the Potteries and Ellie works in homewares at John Lewis so it was perfect for their celebrations), and they went to so much effort to ensure the day was a relaxed, personal and fun affair, one with a real sense of humour, all for their family and friends. I loved the way they celebrated their unique married name of 'Pepper' in their personal details!
Thank you Ellie & Nick for inviting me to capture your day; you were so much fun to be around and I couldn't have had a better time! A big thank you to my dear and wonderful friend Nicki Drab for helping me out on this one.
Up next I'm hoping to share a wonderful styled shoot I collaborated on last year. Lots of beauty for you to feast your eyes on so watch this space. I am also hoping to share two beautiful winter weddings with you very soon. 2016 is set to be a very busy one with my season starting particularly early this year and weddings continuing right through to November 2016. I am now taking bookings for 2017 so do get in touch sooner rather than later...xx
