Elegant Marquee Wedding at Came House

Katherine and Charlie held their beautiful marquee wedding at Came House in Dorset - one of my favourite venues in the English countryside. Their day was planned and executed by Katrina Otter Weddings with stunning white and green florals from Martha and the Meadow. As a preferred wedding photographer at Came House, I was lucky to capture this beautiful wedding.

After getting ready in the bridal suite, the couple travelled the short journey to a quintessentially British church nearby for their ceremony, and then returned to Came House for their reception in a classic, red convertible. This journey not only marked the start of their new life together, but also provided an opportunity for captivating bridal portraits.

They held their cake cutting in the stunning Victorian Orangery and proceeded to have their drinks reception in the estate's beautiful gardens. The gardens at Came House allow for various styles of marquee, with Katherine and Charlie opted for an elegant canvas marquee from Raj Tent. The detail on the ceiling was lovely, and their simple and elegant table styling suited the white and gold tent perfectly. Their evening reception took place in the Orangery, which was a perfect setting for both the first dance and the dance party. The evening lighting looks spectacular and can be appreciated from both inside the orangery as well as from the outdoor lounge area. Came House offers endless possibilities for a stunning wedding celebration, from its beautiful gardens suitable for elegant marquees to the majestic orangery for memorable receptions.
