A Dreamy Lake Como Celebration
This was my first time photographing a wedding on Lake Como, and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful occasion to document than Emma and Adam's special day at Villa Regina Teodolinda, right on the lake's edge. When I think of their wedding, I am reminded of how absolutely smitten Adam was with Emma and how perfectly they complement each other—like two peas in a pod! Meeting them, you immediately sense their deep connection and how wonderfully they fit together.
There were countless unforgettable moments throughout their wedding. I vividly remember the emotional scene when Adam opened his wedding gift from Emma—a heartfelt book filled with reasons she loves him, complete with humorous cartoon drawings. It was the perfect blend of romance, humour, and sentimentality, and easily one of the best wedding gifts I’ve ever seen! Adam was moved to tears, and capturing that raw emotion was a true privilege. Another touching moment was when Emma’s dad saw her in her wedding dress for the first time—there wasn’t a dry eye in the room! These are the moments that make wedding photography so rewarding.
The day was filled with surprises and personal touches, from a heartfelt song by Emma’s bridesmaid to an incredible operatic performance that Emma and Adam arranged as a surprise for their guests.
