This was my first time on Lake Como and I couldn't have asked for a lovelier wedding to document. The day took place at Villa Regina Teodolinda right on the Lake. When I think of Emma & Adam's wedding day, I remember how absolutely besotted Adam was with Emma and how perfectly suited they are to each other. The minute you meet them you realise how they just fit so wonderfully together; like two peas in a pod!
There were so many incredible moments during their day. I remember feeling very emotional photographing Adam opening his present from Emma. Emma had a book made detailing all the reasons she loves Adam with some very funny cartoon drawings, it was funny, romantic and tearjerking all in one. Probably the best wedding present I've come across! Adam was overcome with emotion and it was truly wonderful to document. I also have to mention the beautiful moment when Emma's Dad saw her for the first time. Everyone was crying! It's moments like this that us wedding photographers live for!
Emma and Adam were also treated to a surprise song from Emma's bridesmaid and later, Emma and Adam surprised their guests with an operatic performance from three incredible voices! Everything about the day was personal, romantic and intimate. It really was a fantastic day. All effortlessly planned and styled by Gemma of My Lake Como Wedding.
